Marie A. Laffan, 84, of Syracuse, NY, passed away on Sunday after a short illness. She was born on April 1, 1931 in Dobbs Ferry, NY daughter of the late Joseph Comeau and Adelaide Glosque Sternberg. She retired from IBM and Penn Traffic, Syracuse as a switch board operator and receptionist.
Survivors include her sister, Elaine Miller, nephew, James Miller, Jr., (Catharina), nieces Madeleine Holodnicki (Steve) and Anne Smith (Bryan). Her dear friend Jayne Murray and many others.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday at 6pm at Syracuse Vineyard Fellowship, 312 Lakeside Rd., Syracuse.
