Marie E. Searle Dooley, 90, passed away Sunday.
Born 11/5/23, she was born and raised in Eastwood and lived there until the early 1950s. She lived in the Bridgeport area for the last 35 years. She graduated from Eastwood High School in 1943.
Marie retired from Carrier Corp in 1987 after 15 years in the Drafting and Engineering Dept. and then worked for the North Syracuse School District and Chittenango School District as a Teacher's Aide, Teacher's Assistant and office personnel.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #359, East Syracuse, NY, Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars #9596, Collamer, NY and also the Syracuse Chapter and National Chapter of AARP.
Survivors include two sons, James F. (Sue Juszek) of Bridgeport and John M. (Winnie) of Nedrow, NY; three granddaughters; two grandsons; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Calling hours will be 4-7pm on Tuesday at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Funeral Service will be 10AM on Wednesday, also at the funeral home. Burial at Assumption Cemetery.
