Marie Alice Bateman, 74, of Fulton, NY, stepped into the light, Tuesday, August 25th after a brief illness. She was a native of Oswego and lived in Cicero before moving to Fulton. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Bessie Scharf. Marie retired from Lerners NY & Company, after 30 years. She is predeceased by a son, James Bateman, two brothers and a sister.
She is survived by her husband, Maurice Bateman; two sons, Terrance (Melissa) Bateman, Joe (Mary) Bateman; two daughters, Dona Majo, Bonnie (Robert) Davis; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be Friday, 9:30AM at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Burial will follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
Mom… Grandma… We Love You very much and we will miss you.
