Marian E. McEntee, 74, of Syracuse passed away Sunday at her home following a long illness. Born in Syracuse, Marian was a Retired Deputy Sheriff with the San Diego Sheriffs Department. She was Past President of the Golden State Schools of California and Vice President of David's Military Corporation. Marian is predeceased by her son David.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years; David J., a son; Michael of Syracuse, a daughter; Lorrie (Jack) Jones of California, a brother; Floyd Schill of Syracuse, two sisters; Ruth Thomas of Syracuse and Kathryn (Art) Oliver of Rochester and two grandchildren; Dakota McEntee and Cameron Saska
Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main St, North Syracuse. Burial will be private.
Contributions in Marian's name may be made to Hospice of Central New York.
