Maria Dragano Basta, 83, passed away Monday at her home with her loving husband at her side. A life resident of Syracuse, she worked at General Electric. Maria loved to play the organ and was a very smart business woman. She is predeceased by a brother; Tom Dragano and a sister; Josephine MacNamara.
She is survived by her loving husband; Dominick Basta, two sons; David Basta and Carlo (Joanne) Basta, her grandson; David Jr., and two brothers; Alfred & Ralph Dragano.
Services will be held on Friday at 9 AM at St. Matthew's Church, Kinne St., East Syracuse. Burial will follow St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
