Margot E. Kuett

Margot E. Kuett, 96, of Manlius, passed away November 21, 2024. Margot was born in on December 26, 1927 to the late Georg and Emma Wohlfart. Margot emigrated to the US in November 1954. She lived in Locust Valley, NY, where she established a reputation as an accomplished chef with a distinguished catering service. She has been a resident of Syracuse since 2003. 

She will be remembered for her generous smile, her quick wit, and her caring heart. Oma was a formidable force in so many lives. She will be missed. "When I think of all the years of history both personal and world she experienced and how many lives her vibrant personality has touched, I think she is an amazing example of what someone can do with their life." 

She was predeceased by her husband, Hans Kuett. She is survived by her three daughters, Elisabeth (Robert) Kramer, Gabriele (Warner) Harrison, Katherine (Harlan) Montague; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. 

Private services will take place in Massachusetts in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to Brookdale Manlius Enhanced Assisted Living.
