Margaret Jane Sokolowski, 73, of Liverpool, passed away July 8, 2023.
Margaret was born in Syracuse, New York on September 4, 1949 to the late Arthur and Irene Luke. She was an avid gardener, loved sewing, the casino and dancing. She loved spending time with her family and friends also at her Florida home.
She was predeceased by a son, John Michael Slate; husband, Richard Sokolowski; father, Arthur Luke; mother, Irene Luke; and a sister, Anna Walrath.
Margaret is survived by two sons, William (Andrea) Slate, Jerry (Stacey) Slate; step-son, Richard (Angela) Sokolowski Jr.; grandchildren, Brandi, Cody (ToniMarie), Matthew (Ashley), Benjamin (Rachel), Tori; step-grandchildren, Anna-Marie, Richard, Ryan, Suzanne; siblings, Art, Paul (Joyce), Rena (Ken), and Joseph.
Calling hours are Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse. A funeral service will take place Thursday, 10am, at the funeral home. Interment at Pine Plains Cemetery.
