Margaret R. Farrell, 73, of N. Syracuse, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Sunday after battling Parkinson 's disease for several years. She retired from Sears after over 30 years of service. Margaret enjoyed watching SU basketball. She enjoyed attending all of her children's games as well as her grandson's events. Margaret was a very caring and selfless person. Her sweet smile will be remembered by those who knew her. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. Margaret was predeceased by all 6 of her siblings, Robert Strader, Jane Snyder, Helen Evans, David Strader, Katherine Haynes and Thomas Strader.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert; children, Diana Marra and David Farrell; 2 grandsons, Matthew and Vincent Marra and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday 12-4PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 4PM.
