Margaret L. Palmer

Margaret L. Palmer of Cicero, NY and formerly of the Villages, Orlando, FL, passed away on December 11th, 2020 at the Heritage Health Car Center in Utica, NY.

Margaret retired from St. Joseph's Hospital Social Service Department, and she volunteered at the Masonic Care Community in Utica. In 2007,

Margaret was united in marriage to Patrick C. Palmer.

In her free time she enjoyed playing golf and spending time with her friends and neighbors, who she considered family, at The Villages. Margaret cherished her pets, Tammi, Shawna, Scooter and Howie. Her dog Tammi, would often ride around with her in the golf cart.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Steve (Nancy) Palmiter and David Palmiter; daughter, Deby Joss; grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She leaves to cherish her, her husband, Patrick C. Palmer; a loving sister and brother, Rose and Herby.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ron Palmiter.

I want to thank all nurses and staff at The Grand Nursing Home in Utica, NY for the love and compassion they showed to my wife, Margaret Palmer.

Calling hours will take place on Sunday, December 20th, from 10am to 12pm at Newcomer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212. A memorial service will follow at 12pm.
