Margaret E. "Peggy" Doyle Monahan, 58, of Liverpool, passed away on Monday unexpectedly at her home. She was born November 23, 1953 in Syracuse, daughter of Leonard and Eleanor Dillon Doyle. She was last employed at West Side Manor as a caregiver. On October 30, 1987, she was united in marriage to Robert F. Monahan in Syracuse. She enjoyed collecting bears and attending craft shows.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, mother, Eleanor, N. Syracuse, 2 brothers; Michael R. Doyle, Liverpool, Patrick E. (Gretchen) Doyle, Denver, CO., a sister, Cynthia DiFant, Clay, several nieces and nephews to include 2 special nieces, Michelle DiFant, N. Syracuse and Megan Doyle, Denver, CO.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Funeral services will be held on Friday 10am at the funeral home. Burial will take place in N. Syracuse Cemetery.
Contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the American Heart Association.
