Margaret J. "Peggy" Eberl, 85, of Liverpool, passed away on Friday March 8, 2024 at her home surrounded by loving family. Peggy was born in Detroit, MI on September 28, 1938 daughter of the late Basil and Margaret Helferty.
Peggy retired from St. Joseph's Hospital as a LPN. She was a member of Christ the King Church and had great dedication to her faith. Peggy enjoyed taking the entire family on trips and cruises.
She was predeceased by her husband Jack Eberl, her three sisters, Patricia Mulqueen, Mary Lou Matthews, Barbara Helferty and her brother, Robert Helferty.
She is survived by her five sons; Steven (Mary) Eberl, John (Gail) Eberl, Michael Eberl, Gregory (Dawn) Eberl, Matthew (Laurel) Eberl, eleven grandchildren, Steven, Jennifer, Thomas, Zachary, Gretchen, Rebecca, Madeline, Timothy, Lucas, Jack, Tate and niece Debbie Ritter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 13, 2024 at Christ the King Church in Liverpool from 10am-11am, with a funeral mass at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Hospice of CNY or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
