Margaret D. "Peggy" Blakeman, 93, of East Syracuse, went to be with her Lord on Sunday.
Peggy retired from Hotel Syracuse after 30 years of service. Peggy was a member of the North Syracuse Baptist Church.
The most important part of her life was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 70 years, Robert J. Blakeman, Sr.; two children, Marjorie (Stanley) Prue and Robert J. Blakeman, Jr.; grandchildren, Stanley, Jr., Scott, Susanne, Steven, Robert III, Brandon and Sarah; 13 great-grandchildren and sister, Vivian Morgan.
Calling hours will be Thursday 4-6PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 6PM.
