Margaret Cull

January 3, 1936 — June 29, 2023

Margaret "Peggy" Cull, age 87, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2023 at her home in Florida with her loving family at her side. She was born in Montrose, PA on January 3, 1936, to Donald and Catherine Stabb. Peggy was raised in Brackney, PA until the family moved to Mohawk Hill in Constableville, NY in 1948. She graduated from Constableville Central High School and enlisted in the United States Navy. During her military tenure she married Robert "Bob" Cull on December 31, 1955. Upon graduation from the US Naval Dental Clinic, as a Technician 3rd class, she was stationed in Washington D.C. She was the only woman in the building that worked with the Sailors in the prosthetics field. After leaving Washington D.C., Peggy and Bob started their lives as man and wife and settled down in the Village of North Syracuse where they raised their three daughters. Peggy's career was in the dental field for 40 years but her true love was cooking and spending time with her family. Peggy loved to ride her bike around the Village of North Syracuse, most times visiting her friends. Known as Mema to her 5 grandchildren, she enjoyed taking them to lunch, to the park, or just cuddling with them. Every Friday evening, she had dinner with her eldest grandson, Joe, making a meal of his choice. She enjoyed providing meals to all and loved to watch cooking shows, her favorite being The Pioneer Woman. Prior to Covid, she moved to Florida to live with her daughter, Shannon and her partner, David where she was well cared for up until the time of her death. Peggy was very artistic and loved to draw and sketch. She enjoyed spending time on the patio in the backyard, watching the birds, and being on her tablet on Facebook.

Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Robert Cull; brothers, Danny Stabb and David Stabb; and sister, Mary Lou Fromey.

She is survived by her daughters, Stacey (Joe) Cull-Karins of Winnabow, North Carolina, Stefanie (Gary) Cull-Way of Mattydale, NY and Shannon (David Scheer) Cull-Rininger of Orlando, Florida; grandchildren, Joseph Karins, David (Angela) Karins, Catherine Way, Gary Way and Jack Rininger; great-grandson, Carver Karins; and she also leaves behind, many beloved Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
