Margaret C. Humphrey, 71, of North Syracuse passed away Monday. Born in Syracuse, Margaret was a Receptionist with the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. She was a member of Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir. For many years Margaret was very active as a volunteer with the foundation and assisted with numerous support groups and other foundation activities.
She is survived by her children; Thomas (Mary) Humphrey, Jim (Karen) Humphrey and Teresa (Richard) Ward, a brother; Robert (Judith) Crook, her grandchildren; Scott, Jason, Thomas, Kaitlyn, Jill, Jacob, Robert and Alex, a great grandson; Devon and her mother-in-law; Helen Shine.
Services will be held on Sunday at 3 PM at Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church, 106 Church Street, North Syracuse.
Contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, CNY Affiliate, 5008 Brittonfield Parkway, Suite 300, East Syracuse, New York 13057.
