Margaret C. Brooker, 88, of Mattydale, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday. She retired from Muench-Kreuzer Candle Co.

She was a past member and Commander of Coast Guard Aux. Flotilla 10. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary (Fahey) Brooker; father, Arthur Brooker; sisters, Shirley Knittel, Rita Rankin and Agnes McKeen; Fiance' Edward Sweet.

She is survived by her special niece, caregiver and "daughter", Mary Margaret (Brooker) Berrios; "grandsons", Etiem (Sarina), Damion (Krista) and Joshua; "great grandchildren", Manuel and Leyana; a sister, Mary "Betty" Whitehead; several nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Services will be Friday, 10 AM at St. Margaret's Church, Mattydale. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
