Margaret "Peggy" Wise, 80, of North Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday after a long illness at Francis House.
She was born on June 29, 1932 in Syracuse daughter of John Reilly and Margaret Schamock. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, she loved spending time with her children, listening to Neil Diamond, Whitney Houston and Kenny Rogers.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald F. Wise, Sr. in 1973, her parents and her sister Rose Marie Thomas.
Surviving are her children; Carol Wise, Kathy Ilacqua, Donald F. Wise, Jr., brothers Ed Reilly & Pat Reilly, sister, Kathyleen Gaffney, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Peg was an animal lover especially to her beloved cat, Pretty Girl. A special gratitude to all those at the Francis House and Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY.
