Marcia A. Vassar, 72, of Mattydale, passed away on Sunday.
Marcia was born on October 9, 1942. She graduated from N. Syracuse High School in 1960 and received her Associate's Degree from Onondaga Community College.
Marcia worked for ACME Markets for 19 years and then for Penn Traffic Co. for 29 years.
Marcia was predeceased by her parents, Geraldine and Charles Vassar and her brother, Richard Vassar.
Marcia is survived by a cousin, Rosemary Lane and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse.
A funeral service will be held on Friday 10AM at the funeral home with burial to follow in N. Syracuse Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CNYSPCA or CNY Humane Society.
