Maliek I. Edwards

Maliek I. Edwards, age 21 of Pennelliville, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 8, 2021. He was predeceased by paternal grandfather, Robert Mitchell.

Maliek is survived by his mother, Denise (Brandon) Coleman; father, Gary Edwards; maternal grandparents, Bonnie and Mike Abare; paternal grandmother, Grace Ramsy; great grandmother, Elizabeth Abare; sisters, Jada Edwards and Arianna Nicol; brothers, Brandon Coleman, Jr. and Gary Edwards, Jr.; nieces, Esmae Szablewski, Egypt Edwards and Ignacia Edwards; his banker, Joan Izyk; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Maliek was a 2017 graduate of John C. Birdlebough High School, Phoenix, NY. He was a volunteer firefighter since 2017. He was an active member in The Hatchetmen Motorcycle Club in Taberg, NY for 3 years and the Hannibal Country Cruizer Car Club in Hannibal, NY for 19 years. He enjoyed the outdoors; He loved fishing, hunting, and camping. He enjoyed cooking and loved chicken and eating food. He was a lover and collector of guns and knives. He enjoyed working on his truck, his 2007 Harley Ultra Classic motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends. Maliek was a loving son, grandson, brother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Donations in Maliek's name may be made to the Caughdenoy Volunteer Fire Department, 48 Prospect St, Central Square, NY 13036.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 2pm to 5pm with a private service to follow at 5pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main Street, N. Syracuse, NY.
