Magdalena Duhacek, 90, of E. Syracuse, passed away on Monday with family by her side. She was born on May 8, 1924 in Tovarnik, Yugoslavia, daughter of the late Gregor and Apolonia Schmidt. She worked many years on the family farm in Sherburne, NY and was a family care provider for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, Franz in 2001.
Surviving are her daughter Barbara (Kenneth) Jenkins,her granddaughter, Laura Jenkins, along with several nieces and nephews in Germany.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6-8pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
Graveside services will be held on Friday 11am at St. Andrew's Cemetery, New Berlin, NY.
