Mack M. Rosso, 83 of N. Syracuse took wings to heaven on Wednesday to join the love of his life, wife Barbara of 58 years.
Mack was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, honorably discharged in 1960.
He was a proud member of the Syracuse City Police Force as a motorcycle patrol officer for 22 years retiring in 1977. After retirement he worked several years for HSBC (Marine Midland) Bank as a Consumer Credit Investigator.
Mack loved traveling with Barb in their motor home. He enjoyed restoring old cars, hunting, WWE Wrestling, NASCAR and country music. Most important was his love of family and the desire to see good in people. His kindness and compassion was unmeasurable.
Mack is survived by his niece/daughter Linda and nephew/son Santo. A nephew Scott and nieces Patricia and Sharon. A cousin Helen, several great nieces, nephews and cousins, and many more extended family members and friends that loved him dearly.
A special thank you to Mack's "brother", Dr William Berkery for the outstanding care provided to Mack and Barb over many years.
