Lynwood Geddings, 79, a three year veteran of the US Navy, passed away Friday, at James Square in Syracuse. Lynwood enjoyed travel, tending to his vegetable garden, and loved vintage automobiles.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marge Geddings; his children, Johnny (Keesook) Geddings, Kevin Geddings, Dianna (Vance) Coons, Alan (Darcey) Geddings, and Matthew Geddings; one brother, Ronnie (Shirley) Geddings; two sisters, Edna Ruth (Thomas) Cain, and Julia Ann (Marvin) DuBose, and seven grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Leon and Mazie Geddings; and a grandchild, Michelle Geddings.
Calling Hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, Tuesday from 10 am to 12 pm, with a brief service to follow, and a burial at Pleasant Lawn Cemetery in Parish, NY.
