Luisa Rentas, 76, of Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday at her home surrounded by family. Luisa was born on March 17, 1945 daughter of Jesus and Gregoria Cruz. Luisa was predeceased by her husband Juan.
She is survived by her daughters, Minerva Acosta, Dalila Rentas-Marshall; son, Juan (Anthony) II, Dana Rentas, grandchildren, Yalil (Yalo), Siani, Nyasha, Natalia, Jajuan, Najawon (Telly), Mariya, Taina, Indira, Juan (Macho), Adira, Emily; five great grandchildren, a sister, Gregoria (Clara) Canales; brother-in-law, Franky Villegas; dear friend, Steve Ramadan, along with caring nieces Carmen & Daisy.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday 9:30am at St. Lucy's Church, Gifford St., Syracuse. Burial will take place at Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
