Lucille M. Niedzwiecki, 82, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday.

She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church and St. Vincent DePaul Church. Lucy dedicated her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She listened without judging and loved to help with advice to anyone she talked to. She loved embroidery, crocheting and needlepoint. Lucy especially enjoyed spending time with her family and loved celebrating holidays and special occasions.

She is predeceased by her son, Michael Niedzwiecki; her twin brother, Daniel Daloia; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ineich.

Lucy is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Theodore Niedzwiecki Sr.; her children, Mary (Steve) Furniss, Theodore Niedzwiecki Jr., Anna (Mike) Brooks, William (Beth Moore) Niedzwiecki, Theresa (Bob) Vargason and Laura (Bob) Assisi; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; several brothers and sisters in law; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend and caregiver, Deidre Nelson.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 10-12PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY 13212. Services will follow at 12PM.

Burial will follow at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
