Lucille Margaret (Emm) Dietrich

Lucille Margaret (Emm) Dietrich, born in Syracuse, NY on February 26, 1923, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at her home in Cicero, NY at the age of 99.7. Her parents were Ira C. Emm and Lucy (Duerr) Emm. Lucille graduated from Liverpool High School. After the European World War II ended, she married Charles Wm. Dietrich of Barker, NY on June 9, 1945. They were married for sixty-two years. They first lived in Eastwood until moving to Cicero in 1952.

Lucille was predeceased by her husband, Charles Dietrich in 2008.

Lucille had two sisters, Arlene Myers and Lois Higgins (Syracuse). She also had three children: Suzanne (William) Bradley, a retired German teacher in North Syracuse, Barbara Mort, a retired teacher's assistant in Liverpool and Charles Jr., a general contractor from Cicero; six grandchildren, Kellie (Thomas) McPoyle and Kristin Bradley, Erik (Stacey) and Kyle Mort, Charles Dietrich III and Alexandra Dietrich and six great-grandchildren, Thomas, Meghan and Victoria McPoyle and Madeline, Jillian and Lacey Howell and several nieces and nephews.

Lucille enjoyed reading, doing crafts, playing bingo and spending summers with friends, Dave and Nancy Smith and family in Canada.

A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, October 26th at 1PM in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
