Lucille Bucci Dougherty
April 19, 1936 — April 29, 2019
Lucille Bucci Dougherty "Mama Lou", 83, formerly of Brewerton, passed away April 29.
Lucille was a retired Registered Nurse and met Ronald, the love of her life, while attending LeMoyne College.
She also graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing.
She loved cooking, traveling, reading, and trips to the casino. Her love of animals and Arabian horses inspired their horse farm for their family. Lucille could easily be found bailing hay or showing her horse at a horse show.
Lucille was predeceased by her mother, Antoinette Sampo Bucci St. Arnault. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Dr. Ronald J. Dougherty; her daughters, Maureen (Ralph) Finlayson, Heather (Tim) Dougherty-Trainham, and Erin Marzella; grandsons, Ronald (Sara) Finlayson, and Nicholas (Kitrina) Finlayson.
The family would like to thank Sue House RN for her outstanding support and treatment for the past several years, and her special aides who took wonderful care of her.
