Louise J. Forbes, 71, of Syracuse, formerly of N. Syracuse, passed away Sunday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Louise loved bingo, NASCAR, Las Vegas and spending time with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, John C. Forbes in 1999.
Louise is survived by her two sons, John E. and Michael A. Forbes; her daughter, Donna M. Kellogg; three brothers, Robert, Donald and Chester Kirschmann; two sisters, Ruth Weger and Geraldine Havener; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday 11 a.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
