Louise Hall Buehner, 90, of N. Syracuse, passed away Saturday at home, surrounded by her entire family.
She was born Feb. 28, 1924 in Syracuse to the late Henry and Grace Fortino.
Louise's life was dedicated to taking care of everyone close to her, her mother, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the soul of the family and will be greatly missed.
Most of her time was spent in the kitchen cooking for her family or watching her soap operas.
Louise was predeceased by her brothers, Carmen and Pasquale; her sister, Mary; her son-in-law, Thomas Macri and the love of her life, Richard Messick.
Survivors include her children, Renee Macri, Frank (Rosemary) Hall, Cynthia (Dominick) Cappuccilli, Tammy (John) Hall Blume, Debbie (Bill) Stoltz Jackson, Paul (Deanne) Hall; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren plus one on the way; her sisters, Molly Werpachowski, Josephine Leonard, Rita Boucher; her brother, Frank (Maria) Fortino; her sister-in-law, Connie Fortino and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be 11am-1pm with a funeral service following at 1pm on Wednesday at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Entombment Woodlawn Cemetery.
