Louise R. Gosch

February 1, 2004 Louise R. Gosch, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday. A life resident of the Syracuse area, Mrs. Gosch worked at Castle Rest Nursing Home in the bookkeeping department. In early years, Louise, together with her husband James(1986), was very active in the Southside American Little League, where he was president and she worked alongside him. They were also very active in working bingo at Most Holy Rosary Church. Louise also worked at the Telephone Company for 10 years. Very active in her church, Louise was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, the Catholic Golden Agers, the Seniors Club at both Holy Trinity and Our Lady of Pompei, and was a member of the Cousins Club. Survivors: one son, James J. of Solvay; three daughters: Mary Lou Maisler of Fayetteville, Judy Roberts of Liverpool and Sherrie Posnick of Nedrow; one brother, Joseph Zeppetello of Rome; and nine grandchildren. Services: Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 425 Beechwood Ave., Liverpool, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse.
