Louise Blankman, 87 passed away Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Louise was born January 25, 1924 to Jacob and Elsie (Hodge) Jackson. She was a resident of Syracuse from 1946 until her death. She retired from Cincinnati Milicron in 1986.

She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed her home, children and grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by two husbands, George W. Atwater and Warren Blankman, four brothers and five sisters.

Surviving are three children, Ronald (Carol) Atwater of Williamston, MI, Judy (Peter) Brady and Barbara Root both of N. Syracuse; three grandchildren, Michael Root, Andrea Atwater and Stacy (Nick) Gooding; two great-granchildren, Ryan Root and Samantha Gooding; a brother, Jesse Jackson of Gobels, MI; a sister, Carolyn Blake of Leander, TX; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 9 AM on Saturday at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4-7 PM on Friday at the funeral home, 705 N. Main St.
