We are saddened to announce the passing of Louise S. Barry. Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Louise passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a short illness. She enjoyed her lifetime home on the North side of Syracuse as well as her cottage life in the Thousand Islands in her younger days. Louise loved her family immensely. She was a kind person who loved helping others, especially family and her beloved neighbors. She loved long conversations on the phone with family and lifelong friends. She had a soft spot for the local stray cats and dogs and loved feeding the wildlife around her home.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Thomas Barry in 2022.
She leaves behind her 2 sons; Jeffrey (Christine) Baker, Scott (Bobbi) Baker, her step-daughter Renee (Al) James, 5 grandchildren; Erica (Kevin), Matthew (Kim), Nicholas, Taylor & Abigail, along with great grandsons Dylan & Declan.
Services will be private. Donations may be made to St. Jude or your local animal shelter.
