Louis R. Brockway, 84, of Cleveland passed away on Saturday. He left this world surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 31, 1930 in Phoenix, NY, son of the late Andrew and Nettie Brockway. Dad was an Army Veteran, and a life member of the American Legion, VFW and also a volunteer Fireman for the Cleveland Fire Dept. Lou was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Betty Marie Brockway on August 27, 2014; and one brother.
He is survived by his children: Debra (Thomas) Eastman, Betty Lou (Joseph) Desjardins, Louis C. (Debra Lee), Carla Jean (Tim) Swayze, Annette (Bill) Dow, Corinne House, Donetta (Bill) Gass, Barbie Lynn (Tom) Kopf, two sisters; one brother; 28 grandchildren and great grandchildren, with 2 on the way.
Funeral Ceremonies were private.
