Louis P. Miscione, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, 81, of Clay, passed away Monday at home with family at his side. He was born in New York City and was an Army Air Force veteran. Louis worked as a Mason Contractor with his father and brother. He later went to work for Bank Building Corp. building banks. He was a private pilot and a member of the Syracuse Flying Club.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Helen T. Miscione; a son, Louis F. Miscione Jr.; two daughters, Irene Miscione and Leslie Preuss; seven grandchildren; Dr. Melissa Weinstein, Patricia Calabria , Danny Backus, Joel Miscione, Alyssa Preuss, Marissa Miscione and Louis Miscione III; a brother, Richard Miscione; a sister, Gloria Patrick; and, many nieces and nephews.

Services will be Thursday, 9:30AM at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Clay. Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 5-8PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.

Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
