Louis Frank Lombardo Jr. 68, of Central Square, passed away peacefully, Sunday, February 16, 2025 at his home. He was born in Syracuse, New York and grew up in Pulaski.
He was a graduate of Pulaski Academy, where he played football, wrestled, and studied culinary arts. He began his career working for his father at The Log Cabin Motel and Restaurant in Pulaski. He went on to work for the Marriott and several other restaurants in the Syracuse area. Louis also worked 20+ years for Syracuse University at the Carrier Dome as Building Access Control Assistant and with Catering & Concessions in the private boxes.
Louis lived on Oneida Lake and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, four wheeling, motorcycling, and going to his camp in the Adirondacks near Stillwater Reservoir with his friends and family.
Louis always knew how to make people smile, whether it was helping them in their time of need or telling one of his many jokes. Louis will be greatly missed by all.
Louis was preceded by his grandparents Frank and Angelina Lombardo; parents, Louis and Evelyn Lombardo; sister Angela Lombardo.
Louis is survived by his daughter, Jill Lombardo; ex-wife, Laura Lombardo; Aunt Lisa (James) Whittaker; sisters Francine (Mark) Helinger, Debra (Eugene) Romeo; brother, Anthony Lombardo; dogs, Kalia, Maui and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
