Louis E. "Lou" Dunlap, 94, of Central Square, passed away on Thursday at St. Camillus Health Center where he resided since December 2009. He was born on December 20, 1917 in Johnson City, NY, son of Earl and Mildred Dunlap. Louis was employed as a truck driver for the Teamsters Union #315, retiring in 1979 after 35 years. Louis was predeceased by his wife Beatrice in 1982 and his sister Jean Phelps.

Surviving are his son, Dara Lynn Dunlap, LaFayette, daughter, Brandy Shannon, Wilton, NY,2 grandchildren, Dan Dawson, Revena, NY & Dawn Levesque, Sarasota Springs, NY,2 great grandchildren, 3 brothers; David, MO, Frank, FL & Melvin, TN, several nieces, nephews, cousins and special caregiver friend Marlene Herrick.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 10:30-11:30-am at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Services will be held on Monday at 11:30am at the funeral home. Burial at Lakeside Rural Cemetery, Bernhards Bay.
