Lorri T. Lykins, 49, of Eastwood, passed away Monday at home. Lorri was an exceptionally strong person despite her physical limitations. She was a genuinely happy person who brought great joy to everyone who knew her. Lorri's passion in life was her grandchildren and she will be greatly missed by all. She is predeceased by her father, Thomas Lykins.
She is survived by two daughters, Heather Lykins, Christina Chestnut; a son, Desmond Chestnut; her mother, Marion Lykins; a brother Larry Lykins; a sister, Carol Mertens; four grandchildren, Dylan, Angel, Jaeden and Anthony; her best friend, Nancy Hernandez; several aunts, uncles and nephews.
Services will be Friday, 10 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church. Friends are invited to visit with her family on Thursday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, No. Syracuse.
