Lorraine Y. Klobus, 54, of North Syracuse passed away unexpectedly on Monday afternoon. She was a graduate of Molloy College Rockville Centre, where she received her RN and BSN. Lorraine was a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, NY prior to moving to North Syracuse in 1988. She was predeceased by her mother, Ann.
Lorraine is survived by her husband of 34 years, Kenneth G. Klobus Sr.; her children, Ken & Amy Klobus of North Syracuse, Kyle Klobus of Rochester; her father, Anthony Yaskulski Sr.; siblings, Kim (Andy) Henty, Rosanne Yaskulski and Anthony (Kathy) Yaskulski; and her three nephews, Andrew, Jonathan and Rocco.
Services will be Saturday 10 a.m. at Christ the King Church, Liverpool. Burial will follow in the North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing.
