Lois M. Merriett

Lois M. Merriett, 87 of North Syracuse passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
She loved gardening, barbequing with the family, enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Las Vegas and Florida. She had a passion for coloring arts and crafts.
Survivors include her children, Raymond (Cathy), Robert, Joan (James) Tucker, Kathleen (Michael) Yeldon, Caroline (John) Mertens; grandchildren, Jennifer, David, Thomas, Melissa, Nicole, Robert, Amanda, Danielle, Rachel, Marisa and Kara; great grandchildren, Jordan, Nicholas, Samarra, Laila, Abigal, Addalyn, Damien and Aria.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, Raymond "Pete" Merriett; son, William and parents, Raymond and Goldy May (Switzer) Petrie.
Calling hours will be at New Comer Funeral Home on Monday 4-7PM. Funeral Services will be held at funeral home Tuesday 10am.
Burial will follow at Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Helping Hounds, DeWitt.
