In loving memory of Lois A. Dean (1937 - 2023)
Lois A. Dean went home to be with her savior and Lord Jesus Christ on the night of February 22, 2023, at St. Joseph's Health Hospital Center. She was surrounded by her children and her grandchildren at the time of her passing.
Lois was born in Kenmore, New York on May 3, 1937, and is predeceased by her husband, Charles M. Dean III, who passed in 2007.
Lois is survived by daughters Linda Hatz, and Laurie Hart, and sons Brian (Patti) Dean and Kevin Dean. She treasured, and spent meaningful time with, all of her grandchildren Abigail (Pierre) Milton, Samantha Hatz, Megan Hatz, Alex Hatz, Miranda Hart, Emily Dean, and Alec Dean.
Lois spent her professional life in administrative positions in the legal, insurance and religious sectors, including a long-time role as Church Secretary for the Immanuel Church of the Nazarene in Camillus, NY, where she was long-time member and retired from.
Outside of her family and faith, Lois's interests included cross-stitching, quilting, sewing, gardening and antiquing. Her many creations can be found in the homes of family and friends, including hand-made quilts for each of her grandchildren.
She lived a full life of faith, service, and love. She was beloved and cherished by all who met her, even if for the briefest of moments. She will be deeply missed.
An intimate family service was held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, and a celebration of her life well-lived is being planned for Saturday, March 18th, with additional details forthcoming.
