Lois Jane Casey
November 24, 1929 — May 2, 2019
Lois Jane Casey, 89, of Liverpool, passed away on Thursday, at home, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Syracuse on November 24, 1929, daughter of the late Ray and Lois Cole.
Jane was an incredible mother, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed reading and watching NASCAR.
Lois is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Stefano) Volza, Arlene Casey, MaryBeth (David) Walsh, Margaret (Frederick) Ceratt; sons, James P. Casey, William (Diane) Casey, Jr., Michael (Lisa) Casey, Patrick Casey, Dennis Casey; 25 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; her sister, Doris MacHaffie; brother Ray (Carolyn) Cole, along with many nieces and nephews, who loved and will miss her immensely.
She was predeceased by her husband, William and her son, Timothy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5, from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be held at 10 am on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Onondaga Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Loretto Foundation, 700 E. Brighton Ave., Syracuse, NY 13205.
