Linda C. Postiglion
January 18, 1945 — February 13, 2022
Linda C. Postiglion, 77, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at University Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Born in Utica, she was a daughter to the late Rocco and Julia (Maltzan) Postiglion.
Linda grew up in Sherburne and graduated from Sherburne-Earlville High School in 1963. After graduation, she attended business school at CCBI and then worked in the insurance industry most of her life. Linda retired from CICS Insurance Company in Las Vegas, NY, then returned to Fulton to settle down. Linda enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, and gardening. She had a talent for making beautiful bouquets and centerpieces. Linda was predeceased by her son, Angelo Sacco; stepmother, Mary Postiglion; and her brother, Edward "Butch" Postiglion.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Lawrence "Larry" Vanderpool; children, Julia Sacco, Renee (Gary) Nuzzo, Lynn Fisher and Amy Viets; granddaughter, Kassondra Nuzzo; and two grandsons, Seth and Tyler Viets.
A calling hour will take place Monday, February 28th, from 12-1pm with a service to follow at River Church, 750 James St, Syracuse.
A spring burial will take place in St. Malachy's Cemetery, Sherburne.
