Linda Jennings was born on December 7, 1927 in Warren County, N.C. She peacefully passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019.

Linda was married to O'Donnell Jennings, who predeceased her in 1997. Together, they raised 11 children.

They had five children between them, three nieces and nephews, when their parents could no longer care for them, and three adopted children through the foster care system. From raising these individuals, many grandchildren and great grandchildren were produced. Linda Jennings arrived in Syracuse, NY in 2004, to care for her son Otis Jennings's, children.

This remarkable woman was an intelligent mother and wife, business woman, good athlete, world traveler, classroom Grandmother for PEACE INC., devoted Christian, and served honorably for her church, Encounter Christian Fellowship.

Linda's wake and funeral will be held at Encounter Christian Fellowship, located at 705 Hamilton Street, Syracuse, NY 13204, on Saturday, August 31, 2019. Calling Hours are from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, and the service will immediately follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Encounter Christian Fellowship Church.
