Linda A. (Smyth) Aksterowicz, 67, of Cicero, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday. She was born on September 8, 1947 in Syracuse, to the late Jane and Patrick Smyth. She was predeceased by her husband, John; her brothers, Daniel and Richard.
She worked as a parent-aide for Catholic Charities and was a Real estate agent, most recently was retired. She loved spending time with her family, friends and her beloved dog, Maddy. She also loved to cook and entertain. She loved camping, the outdoors, and being near the water.
Surviving are her daughters, Lisa (Mark) Cavallo, Kristy (Mike) Bagan and Janet Easson; son, Dave (Alexandra) George; step-sons, Gregory (Bonnie) and Stephen Aksterowicz; grandchildren, Meghan and Mark Cavallo, Jr.; Emily and Samuel Bagan; Emily and Ryan Easson; Davey and Sarah George; Reid, Jack and Drew Aksterowicz; brothers, Patrick (Janet), William (Bonnie), Joseph (Jane) and Edward Smyth; brothers-in-law, Theodore (Marianne) and Ronald Aksterowicz; best friends, Nancy Harris and Darlene George.
A memorial mass will be held on Monday 10AM at St. James Church, 6 Green St., Cazenovia with burial to follow in St. James Cemetery.
