Lillian Irene Pease
January 22, 1933 — July 28, 2023
Lillian Irene Pease, 90, formerly of Rome, (where she raised her family) passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 with her daughters by her side.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert S. Pease; her grandson, Jacob Madonia and son-in-law, Donald Madonia.
Lillian had a warm heart for all animals. She always had a pet cat by her side. In her years we can remember Mom nursing back to health either a cat or dog. Many of her family members have her heart for animals too.
Mom loved being a Nurses Aide at Stonehedge nursing home and for awhile at Rome Hospital, all while keeping up with all her daughters. Our mother loved her family and she remembered everyone's birthday.
Lillian is survived by her eight daughters, April (Donald) Klepper, Yvonne (Gary) Obranovich, Susan (Tom) Rozzano, Judy Madonia, Lisa (Leo) Boylan), Kim (Armin) Reischl, Melissa (Steve) Benidt, Marylou Pease; 23 grandchildren, Scott, April, Heather, Rachel, Michelle, Gabrielle, Danielle, Tara, Donato, Dana, Leona, Jacob, Chanel, Shealynn, Noah, Josh, Joey, Dominick, Alexandria, Alaina, Amanda, Ashleigh, Emma and 34 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.
Calling hours are Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 10am-12pm at New Comer in North Syracuse with a service to follow at 12pm. Lillian will be laid to rest in her hometown of Binghamton, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the CNY SPCA, 5878 Molly Rd.
