Mrs. Lillian Deloris (DeLee) Baxter, 65, of Nedrow, passed away at Community General Hospital. She was born on January 5, 1943 in Dorchester, SC to the parents of Marion and Cora Lee DeLee. She graduated from Kennedy High School and attended the E.R. Brown Beauty School in Charleston, SC. She was employed at University Hospital for 8 years and as a day care provider for the Onondaga Co. Dept. of Social Services for 24 years.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, James Baxter; 3 children, Andrea of Syracuse, Charene of Silver Spring, MD, James "Tony" (Christa) of Liverpool, Diane Baxter (Reeseville, SC); step-daughter, Rose Glover (Brooklyn, NY); 5 grandchildren, Duane, Pierre, Sonya, Nicholas and Timothy; 4 great-grandchildren, Duane Jr., Kristen, Jason, and Jordan; mother, Cora Lee DeLee of Dorchester, SC; brother, Ulysses (Louise) DeLee of Dorchester, SC; sisters, Ruth (Charles) Jordan of Esmont, VA, Virginia Harris of Syracuse, Edna DeLee of Augusta, GA, Evola (Eugene) Fogle of Summerville, SC, Beverly DeLee of Orangeburg, SC; 2 sister-in-laws, Willamae (Bill) DeLee (Syracuse) and Anna Lee (Marion Jr.) DeLee (Philadelphia, PA) and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be private. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
