Lewis J. Bersani, age 73, of Cicero passed away on Tuesday. He was born in Syracuse on September 27, 1945 son of Gabriel and Marguerite Bersani.
Lewis was a boat mechanic for 43 years and owned and operated Bersani Sport Marine.
He was an avid pilot and fisherman who enjoyed shrimping, lobstering, and vacationing in the Florida Keys.
Lewis is survived by his wife of 24 years, Ann Bersani; daughter, Lewanna Bersani; sons, James and John Bersani; daughters-in-law, Jane and Lisa Bersani; sisters, Peggy Bersani-Stevens, Gail Bersani-Stevens; mother, Marge Bersani; and his grandchildren, Blair Mayer, Ryan Yakel, Kala Yakel, and Kristen Liedka.
Lewis was predeceased by his father Gabriel. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, February 5th, from 4-7pm with a service to follow at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse, NY 13212.
