Leslie D. Ulm, 76, of Liverpool, passed away February 5, 2023.
Leslie was born in Jacksonville, Illinois on March 18, 1946 to the late Marshall and Dorothy Ulm.
Leslie D. Ulm graduated high school from Barry High School in Illinois in 1964. He also graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL in 1968. He earned a master's degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in 1974.
Leslie previously worked as Camp and Retreat Ministries Director after many years at the United Methodist North Central Conference. Later, he worked for ARC of Onondaga and Elmcrest Children's Center. In his free time, Les was an avid gardener and loved reading. In 2008 he earned a doctorate of ministry from Drew University. He wrote a thesis on the environment and our responsibility to God's earth.
He is survived by his Wife of 50 years, Sharleen Ulm; Son, Evan Ulm; Two Sisters, Cheryl Lum and Phyllis Lawson.
Services will be held in the spring.
