Leroy E. Sabin Jr.
May 16, 1957 — June 5, 2024
LeRoy E. Sabin Jr., 67, of Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Francis House after a long illness. LeRoy was born in Syracuse, New York on May 16, 1957 to Ethel and LeRoy Sabin. LeRoy retired from Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency in 2019 after 34 years of employment. LeRoy enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, dirt track racing, the Buffalo Bills and spending quality time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel Peak and LeRoy E Sabin, Sr.
LeRoy is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Lori; sons, LeRoy E. Sabin III, Michael D. Sabin, Joseph M. Sabin, daughters, Jamie (James) Carlin and Nicole (Jeff) Mulpagano; 8 grandchildren; siblings, Bonnie Sabin, Sissy Anderson, Colleen Anderson, Jackie Thomas, Richard (Carol) Sabin, Norman (Lisa) Sabin, Rhonda (Bill) Murphy and Raymond (Theresa) Sabin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to the staff at Francis House for the care given during LeRoy's final days.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 2-4PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, where a funeral service will follow at 4PM. Memorial contributions may be made in LeRoy's memory to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
