Leon "Butch" Bielowicz, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 27, 2020.
He was a lifelong resident of Auburn, NY.
He enlisted in the Marines in 1957, where he served for 4 years. Butch retired from Gould Pumps in 2004.
Butch was a humble man who loved nature. He enjoyed fishing with his son, Brian, friends, and his brother-in-law, Joe. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time on the course with good friends. He was a simple man who had few needs, except the need to help others. Butch spent many hours at the Falcon Sportsman's Club, caring for the club and "hanging out" with his buddies. Butch enjoyed cookouts at his daughter Nicole's home.
He will be truly missed by those he leaves behind, including his loving wife, Dolores of 55 years; his daughter, Nicole (Ron) Kelly of Cicero; two grandchildren, Alicia and Nate; a son, Brian of Ithaca; son, Ed Coraci of Auburn; a twin sister, Loretta Hoey of North Syracuse; several beloved nieces and nephews and many good friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 13th at 10am at Sacred Heart Church in Cicero.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at Alz.org.
