Lena R. Magari, 98 of Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on November 3rd, 2021.
Born on February 10th, 1923 in Calabria, Italy to the late Louis and Grace Zucco. She loved gardening, cooking and especially baking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Magari-Liesche and Grace (Ronald) Nadeau; grandchildren, Tracy (Lance) Stonecipher and Stephanie Nadeau; great-grandchildren, Sabrina and Luke Stonecipher; siblings, Joseph (Mary) Zucco, Rose Lardeo and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband in 2013, Charles; siblings, Mary Cook and Joyce LaRosa.
The family would like to thank Tim Reedy and staff at Bishop Rehab, especially Terri Levine.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St. N. Syracuse on Thursday, November 11th from 10am-11am. Service will follow at 11am. Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
