Leland W. Amond

Leland W. "Lee" Amond, 87, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday June 28th at his home. Leland was born in Watertown, New York on May 24, 1935 son of the late Frederick and Mary Amond. Leland served in the US Marine Corps Reserves for 33 years. He received his pilots license where he used his skills to assist the Civil Air Patrol.
Leland enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his fourlegged friend CJ. He retired from Centro Bus in 2018 at the age of 83. Leland was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Janet E. Amond, his brother, Warren Amond, sister, Aleatha Close.

He is survived by his 3 children, Cheryl Tant, Dale (Kim) Amond, Daughter, Michelle (Lauren) Stanard, 2 grandchildren, Kevin Amond, Katie Ciaello, 3 great grandchildren, Camren, Haylee, Margo, sister-in-law, Janet Amond, along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 6th from 2-4:30pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 4:30pm at the funeral home.
